How To Make a Bait Bag Using the Double Knot Method

• Slide the Top Band down the tube (to keep the mesh clean).
•Push the top of the tube into your Wet Bait Mix (This method makes it easy when using wet bait to get the bait inside the tube).
• Place your hand over the Knotted bottom end of the tube and compact the bait down with a plunger tightly inside the tube.
• Now Remove your hand from covering the botton of the tube and push your bait bag out just to clear the bottom of the tube by around 3/4 - 1 inch.
• Twist the Bait Bag around a little which will tighten the mesh up around the bag end (vital if using dry bait otherwise the bait will fall out when trying to tie the first knot.
• Now form a loop and pass the bait ball through the loop to form a knot pulling it up tight to your bait bag.
• Now form another knot in the same way but this time pull the second knot up just far enoughg to leave a space between the 2 knots.
• Now cut the bait bag off by Cutting between the knots leaving a nicely made Bait Bag . Your tube is also ready knotted at the bottom for the next Bait Bag to be made.

How To Load The PVA Mesh Refill onto the Tube

1. REMOVE THE ELASTIC BAND FROM THE TOP OF THE TUBE

2. REMOVE THE PVA MESH REFILL FROM THE GRIP SEAL BAG & PICK UP THE NON ELASTICATED END WHICH WILL BE ON THE OUTER SIDE OF THE REFILL

3. PLACE THE NON ELASTICATED END OF THE PVA MESH REFILL ONTO THE TOP OF THE TUBE AND SHUFFLE THE PVA MESH ONTO THE TUBE WITH THE COLOURED ELASTICATED KNITTED TOP BAND GOING ON LAST

4. NOW REPLACE THE ELASTIC BAND ABOVE THE COLOURED KNITTED TOP BAND WHICH ACTS AS EXTRA HOLDING SECURITY

5.THE NON ELASTICATED END CAN NOW BE KNOTTED READY TO TAKE THE BAIT AND YOUR PVA MESH TUBE IS NOW READY TO USE

Best Practices For Making Mesh Balls

How you use our PVA Mesh is completely up to you and your skill as an angler but to get the most balls out of our PVA Mesh (per metre) we tie them as explained below:

1. HOLD MESH AND TUBE FIRMLY IN ONE HAND

2. FILL THE TUBE FROM THE ELASTICATED TOP END TO LEVEL REQUIRED

3. LET THE BAIT AND MESH COME DOWN CONTROLING IT WITH YOUR HAND AND A NICE BALL WILL FORM

4. NOW COMPRESS THE BAIT WITH YOUR HAND (by resting the bottom of the ball on your leg and pushing down on the top of the ball with your hand works well you do not need a plunger, although if preferred, one can be used) THEN TWIST THE MESH A LITTLE

5. ONCE TWISTED , THE BAIT WILL NOT NOW FALL BACK DOWN THE TUBE AND YOU CAN NOW TURN EVERYTHING UP SIDE DOWN HOLDING THE TUBE AND MESH BETWEEN YOUR LEGS (this leaves both hands free and locks the mesh on the tube)

6. NOW FIRM THE BALL MORE BY TWISTING THE PVA MESH & ONCE TIGHT ENOUGH, USE PVA TAPE TO TIE OFF THE BALL (This is very easily done!) IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO USE PVA TAPE TO TIE OFF YOUR BALL, SIMPLY TIE A KNOT AND SLIDE THE KNOT BACK TO MAKE A TIGHT BALL, THEN YOU CAN FORM ANOTHER KNOT AND CUT INBETWEEN THE TWO KNOTS SO THE PVA MESH TUBE IS READY FOR THE NEXT BAIT BALL.
